Unleash your creativity with art, learn about biodiversity in your backyard, and explore science with this curbside pickup activity program!

Amid these challenging times, we wanted to thank you, the residents of Durham Region, for doing your part in staying safe. Through our resolve and resilience as Ontarians, together we will #PowerOn.

This summer we are pleased to offer a curbside pickup program in Pickering and Clarington. Families can pickup FREE, fun and educational activity kits that children can do from the safety of home.

The program runs on select Tuesdays through July and August and each week’s ‘power pack’ will feature a different community partner and activity.

Don't miss out on the fun, as all programs require registration and activity kit quantities are limited!

Join Earth Rangers and become a Habitat Hero by creating places for animals to sleep, forage, and nest in your own backyard or balcony! Create a butterfly feeder that will attract fluttery friends and give them much-needed fuel for their migratory journey.

  • Maximum three kits per family each week.
  • New kits will be available to order on Wednesdays following the previous pickup date at 10 a.m.
  • If you do not receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL within 24 HOURS of submitting your order, please contact us.

  • Please remain in your vehicle.
  • Please have your confirmation email handy.
  • Please follow the designated route provided.
  • At the pickup area, please pop your trunk and wait; staff will safely deposit your kit(s).
